  1. This is a great little scale copter. The mechanics are very robust design though of course the plastic fuselage and scale detail bits are fragile. This is not a trainer but something to enjoy some nice scale flying with and it does it well. Very stable and solid flyer. Some complain about the way it hovers with the body not perfectly level. This is a result of the tail rotor not being on the level of the same plane as the main rotor disc. This offset at hover causes the copter to hover with one side lower. This is the same thing that happens with full scale copters. Some full scale copters have a tail rotor that is offset to raise it up to be in the same plane as main rotor and this eliminates the side leaning tendency while hovering. The Bell Huey is a good example of this offset. This little copter is scale so tail rotor is like on full scale only a light rc copter like this will show the hover lean even more pronounced. You will definitely feel a different combination of stick positions turning left compared to right but once you get the feel it’s not to difficult to compensate for.
I made a small jumper cable so I can leave the battery in it while charging since taking canopy off and on repeatedly will likely damage it.
I fly this with a Taranis X9D with iRangeX IRX4 Plus module and it works great though I haven’t yet figured out how to set up dual rates. I just fly indoors with low rates so I haven’t bothered with it.
